The Wikis for Blooming Creations were a collaborative effort between five women from varying walks of life. In these pages, we aimed to broaden and deepen our understanding of new media and contemporary theories.

A discussion on the impact new media has on the of world politics. Specifically we will discuss the important role new media played during the recent uprising in Egypt and consequential ousting of Hosni Mubarak.

An investigation into how the music industry deals with the influence of new media by exploring different business models. Current models will be examined, and predictions of future models will be made.

The solidification of new media as a frequently used and increasingly accepted avenue for communication subsequently raises several issues. Social media policy, applicable laws and code of conduct for social media are examined as potential solutions to problems created by new media.
